We believe in using only natural biological controls for pests whenever possible, and we recommend spot-treating problem areas over traditional “blanket” applications. This allows for environmental benefits such as increased microorganism activity, increased earthworm activity, and less stress on grass plants and root systems, not to mention a healthier, more beautiful lawn. We are so committed to protecting our environment that in addition to our Alternative® Organic-Based Program that uses 85% fewer chemicals than traditional lawn care, we have developed a Natural Alternative® Program which is 100% pesticide free.

Our Alternative Program uses organic-based controls (whenever possible) to keep the weeds in check and your lawn looking it’s greenest.

Any weed and insect control material used is applied in accordance to soil analysis and local conditions. When control materials are applied by us, they are used sparingly and in conjunction with an ongoing IPM (Integrated Pest Management) program.

Fertilization
A balanced blend of fertilizers including nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus give your lawn a deep, green color and also helps with root development.

Weed Control
Proper timing is essential for good weed control. Your turf specialist knows both what to apply to your lawn and when to apply it.

Insect Control
Insects can destroy an average lawn in less than two weeks. NaturaLawn or America applies preventative insecticides as needed to control the most common lawn insects as part of an ongoing IPM (Integrated Pest Management) program.

Crabgrass Control
To be effective, crabgrass control needs to be applied in the early spring. NaturaLawn of America’s pre-emergent crabgrass control can effectively control crabgrass and variety of other weeds
